The Mi 5i launch is expected on January 5 as Xiaomi is sending out invitations for the 108-megapixel camera smartphone

Mi10i could launch in India on January 5th. The teaser shared by Xiaomi on Twitter did not explicitly name the smartphone, but revealed that the new phone with a quad-camera setup and 108 megapixel primary sensor will launch on January 5th. Judging by past leaks, the phone is expected to be Mi10i. A previous report suggested that the recently launched rebranded Note 9 Pro 5G phone in China with a 108 megapixel primary camera could be launched in India. The China 5G model is different from the Redmi Note 9 Pro model launched in India.

Xiaomi has announced the launch date of its upcoming phone Twitter. Although the tweet does not explicitly state that it is the Mi10i, the short teaser video provides as much hints as it does that the phone is actually launching. It shows the phone with a square shaped quad rear camera module and gives hints at the 108 megapixel primary camera. The Mi 10i is an addition to the Mi 10 range, which so far includes – Wednesday 10, Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10 Lite, Mi 10 Ultra, And Mi 10 Light Zoom Edition.

Mi is 10i Recently appeared on Geekbench With model number M2007J17I. On the Geekbench website, the Xiaomi phone is listed with 8GB of RAM and clocked at octa-core SoC at 1.8GHz. The phone received a single-core score of 652 and a multi-core score of 2,004 and is listed to come with Android 11.

Recent report Suggested that it might be a rebranded model of the Mi 10i Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G Launched in China In the last month. If the same happens, the Mi10i will have a 6.67-inch full-HD (2,400×1,080 pixels) display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and will be powered by a Snapdragon 750G SOS coupled with 6GB of RAM.

Apart from the 108 megapixel main sensor, the quad camera setup features an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, the Mi10i is expected to be a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The phone can be backed up with a 4,820 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
