The Tata Tiago EV booking portal crashed minutes after it went live
This overwhelming response generated by the Tata Tiago EV hatchback may have caused the booking portal to crash. The Tiago EV booking portal opened for users at 12pm and showed a “504 error” page minutes after the website crashed. This can be blamed on the heavy traffic that the website cannot handle at this time.
Tata Tiago EV grabs the title of the cheapest EV in the country. Additionally, Tata has kept its youthful appeal intact and the Indian automaker has designed it with added goodies to make the package more rewarding. Not surprisingly, the vehicle created a ton of buzz.
However, what can be inferred from this mini incident is Tata’s grip on the EV market. Tiago EV starts at Rs. 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and just Rs. Can be booked with a token amount of 21,000. It makes for an excellent proposition for the money, and the fact that the company’s website is bogging down is only a sign of another winner in the company’s EV segment.
Tata Motors seems to have acted quickly on the issue and the website is now back up.
