Samsung launches Galaxy M42 5G in India The phone’s battery was removed from BIS certification in November 2020. The device is now identified with the model number SM-M426B / DS on the Wi-Fi Alliance website, where DS stands for Dual SIM. The Wi-Fi Alliance listing reveals that the handset will come with Android 11 and dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz). Interestingly, the same model number appeared on the Bluetooth SIG website and it was a Rebranded Samsung Galaxy A42 5G. The thing to note here is that the Samsung Galaxy M42 may be the first phone in the Galaxy M series to support 5G connectivity.

Will the Samsung Galaxy M42 5G launch soon?
The Bluetooth SIG website has revealed that the Samsung Galaxy M42 5G and Galaxy A42 5G are one and the same. The Bluetooth SIG list also confirms that the phone comes with 5G support. The Samsung Galaxy M42 is likely to be the first 5G phone in the Galaxy Om series and is expected to launch in India soon.
The Samsung Galaxy M42 5G specs may be similar to the Galaxy A42 5G
If the Samsung Galaxy M42 5G is actually a rebranded Galaxy A42 5G, we already know the specifics. Samsung has re-launched the Galaxy A42 5G Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset with 8GB of RAM and a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display.
