Redmi Note 12 5G India launch imminent, spotted on BIS: specifications

The vanilla Note 12 appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. Model number 22111317PI. While the full model number may be slightly different, the shortened one is the same as the Chinese Note 12 5G. The BIS listing hints at an imminent India launch, possibly later this month.

The display also covers 100 percent of the P3 color gamut, offers a high refresh rate, supports classic and paper eye protection modes, and is accredited with SGS certification for low blue light.

The Redmi Note 12 5G has a large 5,000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging. In terms of performance, the Redmi Note 12 5G is the first to adopt the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 mobile platform, fully supporting daily use with an AnTuTu performance score of around 400,000. It comes in three colors, blue, white and black, in four storage variants, 4GB+128GB, 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB, starting at RMB 1,199 (roughly Rs. 13,640).
