Power apps include a set of apps, services, connectors, and data platforms (including tools for non-programmers). Using this, the underlying data platform of Power Apps (Microsoft Database), Or other data sources (on-premises or in the cloud) such as SharePoint, Excel, Office365, Dynamics365, SQL Server, etc.
In other words, Power Apps can easily connect to low-code, web-based and cloud-based platforms and business data to create web and mobile app applications. Programmers can deploy power apps to interact programmatically with data and metadata, apply business logic, create custom connectors, and integrate with external data.
Unlike the PowerApps version I reviewed in 2016 (note there is no space between words), the latest PowerApps do not require a Windows Store-based design environment and are developed differently from No-Code Builder. It will also finally implement the cloud-based ‘PowerAps’ design environment promised by Microsoft at the time.
For reference, there are currently around 400 low-code and no-code app builders on the market, including Amazon Honeycode and Google Cloud Appsheet.
Power Apps Components
In general, after starting creating Power Apps on the Power Apps homepage, it was further developed on the Power Apps Studio page. Developers can view their apps on Windows, iOS and Android devices using the Microsoft Power Apps mobile app. It can be downloaded from the affiliate app store. With admin privileges, you can control your company environment, data connections, roles and policies from the Admin Center page.

There are many ways to create an application: starting from data, starting from a blank canvas (adding data later), creating a model from scratch and creating a portal. On the home screen, you will see links and various options for courses such as getting started with a sample app, creating an app from a template, creating a flow, creating a chatbot and creating an AI application using Azure AI services. Have
As for the data source, you can choose from more than 275 common sources. First, you create a connection from the data source, and then select Table or List.
Power Apps Studio (Canvas App)
Canvas apps created when starting from data are always based on a list or table, but you can add data later. You can also add more screens, controls, actions and flows.
Flow, Power Automat, Power BI
Power Apps functionality can be extended by adding streams created with Power Automatic and displaying Power BI tiles. Flows can be inserted using the Power Automat menu item under Action and Power BI Tiles can be inserted using the Power BI menu item Insert | Charts. Power apps, Power Automat and Power BI are all part of the Microsoft Power Platform.
Power Apps Function
Power Apps supports the Power FX function similar to Excel. You can use it to filter galleries or tables, compare values for patterns, select outliers and apply formulas. For example, using the expression below, you can categorize by the account column in the list.
SortByColumns (search (accounts, TextSearchBox1.Text, “name”), “name”, If (SortDescending1, SortOrder.Descending, SortOrder.Ascending))
Model powered power apps
Canvas apps give you complete control over your app layout, while model-based apps work mostly on the layout based on the components you choose. If desired, you can combine the two by adding custom pages to your model-based app. Custom pages created by Canvas App Designer.
Power Apps Portal
Power Apps Portal is an external-face website. Users can log in with multiple identities outside the organization, create and view data in Microsoft Databus, or view content anonymously. It is similar to the Dynamics 365 portal, but virtually all Dynamics 365 portals are now called Power Apps portals. It can be edited in the Power Apps Portal Studio.
Power Apps Admin Center
Power Apps Platform Administration Center Admin privileges are required to view the screen.
With a few exceptions, Power Apps offers almost all the features supported by Amazon Honeycode and Google Cloud Appsheet. You can also add functionality with Power Fx code snippets. Power Apps provides Power Automat for Flow Editing, Power BI for Analysis Tiles and connectors for over 275 data sources. Data sources are not limited to Microsoft technologies and services.
The downside is that, as is often the case with Microsoft products, PowerApps manuals and learning materials are plentiful but cluttered. It is clear that the information you need is somewhere, but it is not so easy to find.
The power of app is very reasonable for businesses that already have a Microsoft 365 license. However it is questionable how many power apps will actually be introduced. Current sales show that low-code and no-code platforms are more departmental than company-wide products, and of the 400 low-code vendors, the main ones are very few “power users” who can create custom apps. Or already established. In the section.
