Motorola has not disclosed any details regarding the launch of the Moto G50 in India.
Motorola Moto G50 Features
The Motorola Moto G50 has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with HD + resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate. Depending on the price of the device, the display resolution may not be sufficient. However, the display has a V-shaped notch in the center for the selfie camera. The Moto G50 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G processor. This SoC is built on an 8nm process. It has 2x Cryo 460 Gold and 6x Cryo 460 Silver CPU cores and Adreno 619 GPU. The device is available in 4GB + 64GB version. 128GB storage option is also on offer. The Moto G50 Stock runs on Android 11 OS with Android UI. Motorola guarantees “at least one” major OS upgrade.
In the camera segment, the Moto G50 has three rear cameras; 48MP main sensor with PDAF, 5MP macro camera and 2MP depth sensor. Unfortunately, the rear camera does not record 4K videos. For selfies, it has a 13MP camera.
The Moto G50 packs a 5,000 mAh battery with fast charging. The phone has two SIM card slots and 5G connectivity. You get dual-band Wi-Fi AC, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS and USB Type-C port. The fingerprint scanner is mounted on the back panel. Speaking of which, Motorola claims on its website that the G50 has a plastic body. The back panel also seems to be made of plastic. The Moto G50 also gets a water repellent design.
