The Microsoft Surface Duo has received an update that brings bug fixes and application optimizations and improvements, as noted in an update on Google Play. The Microsoft Launcher update is now available for Android users and brings improvements such as opening the feed page in Landscape and at the same time keyword search in another app, screen time support, and Office applications. The Surface Duo is Microsoft’s first dual-screen Android smartphone, and it comes with 360-degree keys, with two different OLED displays.
According to Microsoft Launcher Changelog in the Google Play Store, (first Spotted By XDA-Developers) Update Firmware version 6.2.201102.92686. It is now designed for the Surface Duo in the US and brings shared optimizations and bug fixes through the report.
The update opens the feed page in Landscape and brings improvements along with another app in the Surface Duo. It gets an overview on single screen and screen time support on foldable device Microsoft. There are improvements in the application group creation flow through the context menu and there are spacing and icons stability in the app drawer. Users can now search by keywords in Office applications on the device.
Other than that, there are bug fixes in the app drawer, app icon size and folder swipe up gesture. Earlier this month, Microsoft Announced This will make the surface duo available outside the US. The foldable Android phone from the company will be available in Canada, UK, France and Germany in early 2021.
