It may still be — ::checks calendar:: — 2022, but at Motorola HQ, the prolific phone maker is in 2023, working on several handsets slated for release next year. We have already seen some of these devices previous Motorola/Lenovo RoadmapsBut here we have a yet-to-be-reported smartphone codenamed Geneva.
The Geneva comes in two basic variants, 5G-capable and 4G-only, which should immediately tip you off that this isn’t a premium device (Motorola flagships are only offered in 5G SKUs). In fact, unless it’s referred to as an Edge-branded model, it appears on the surface to be a follow-up to the Milan, which shipped this year as the Moto G Stylus (2022) and G Stylus 5G (2022). After all, Geneva’s 5G (XT2315) model number is exactly 100 higher than Milan’s XT2215.

Furthermore, the Geneva’s known specs are decidedly mid-range, with a maximum of 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage capacity. However, this isn’t exactly the first stylus-capable Edge phone, with the first-party Folio bundle bringing that capability to phones like the Edge+ 2022.
Available to ship in Black Beauty or Crystal Grey, the Geneva is exclusive to North America because of the majority of its sales channels – T-Mobile, US Cellular, Verizon, AT&T, Cricket and TracFone, among others. United States. It’s not yet clear when in the year Geneva’s 4G or 5G flavors will ship, nor are any pricing details currently available.
