With both Airtel and Jio announcing their 5G services, consumers in select cities can now view and experience the much-awaited fifth-generation cellular connectivity on their devices. 5G launch in India

Said to experience Jio True 5G, the telecom giant said the rollout will be invitation-based, where select users will be selected for the “Jio Welcome Offer”. In this program, users can share their experiences and opinions regarding Jio’s 5G services. This will allow the company to iron out any flaws in its network, which will replace the steady rollout when 5G goes live across the country in the next two months. Additionally, users should ensure that they have a 5G-enabled smartphone with an active recharge plan to use 5G services.
