Passengers carrying a 5G-enabled smartphone with 5G SIM cards can experience it at the Domestic Departure Pier and International Arrival Baggage Area at Terminal 3 and from T3 Arrivals to the Multi-Level Car Park (MLCP), officials announced. 5G network services in India provide you with:

  • Fast network
  • Better signal strength
  • Minimal latency
  • Seamless connectivity
  • Fast data speed

The expansion of Terminal 3’s 5G services will be implemented in phases. As of now, only a few TSPs have received this new 5G network service to facilitate their customers, but others are expected to connect in the coming weeks.

Apart from this, visitors to GMR Aerocity Delhi can experience the 5G network at GMR Square. The 5G network will provide passengers with data speeds 20 times faster than current Wi-Fi technology or 50 times faster than current mobile data communication networks.

“Delhi Airport has always been at the forefront of providing new generation technologies to passengers. We have built our own 5G infrastructure to enhance their experience at the airport. The 5G network will deliver faster speeds and lower latency,” said Videh Kumar Jaipuriar, CEO, DIAL. (by)

“The 5G network offers faster speeds and lower latency. At the airport, this feature of next-generation mobile technology will help improve connection density and lead to greater efficiencies and faster decision-making,” he added.

To improve customer experience, airlines and other airport stakeholders are also looking for fast, seamless and secure connectivity for their arsenal.
